The Leapfrog Table

We bought this at Beverly's store Doodlebugs. It is so cute and Lily loves it. She really wants to pull up on it, but she's using her arms instead of her legs. That means she ends up pulling it over on herself. That makes her mad. Okay, I've done something completely crazy with the pictures. Somehow I've given them all the same file name. So yesterday Lily, Oscar and I went out in the backyard to play. Lily has really started to like being outside. The wind was blowing Lily's hair in her face. She kept brushing at it as if to say what is this stuff in my face. She is so very cute. She likes sitting in the grass and playing at the water table. It was to cool outside to play in the water, so we just watched Marcella and Oscar run around. Here are some pictures:

Everything went fine with Lily's tubes. I'm tired so I'll write more later.

Lily's getting tubes.

Okay, tomorrows the day. Lily is getting tubes in her ears. I feel like it's kind of my fault. I pushed for the hearing test. After all, she's one, how do I know if she's hearing well? It turns out she can hear to a whisper, but not lower. That's not too bad. What concerned me was the fluid in her ears. Her ears are so small that no one has been able to really see in them. So I asked for a follow up to the ENT. He said tubes now or tubes later. I guess we might as well get them now. I really want her to talk. It's going to be difficult enough without everything sounding like she's underwater. Here are some pictures from the fourth of July and her birthday party at my Mom's house. We had to have it before we moved or none of the little kids could come. I think she was a little overwhelmed. I know I was. But it was a lot of fun. I'm working on a slideshow of her first year. Hopefully it will be done before her actual birthday.

This is very funny. We put Lily on her knees behind these two watermelons. We thought she's wearing her watermelon outfit, she's too cute. Then we all learned a valuable lesson.
