We have to be at the Outpatient center are 6:00 in the morning. Yikes, that's early. She is the second case of the day, and they said the first one would be really short. Hopefully that's just someone getting tubes and they'll be done in fifteen minutes. We are to stay overnight in the hospital, but if they can, they'll discharge us before 6:00 am on Wednesday morning so it would be considered outpatient and no charge for a room. Here's hoping I'll be posting good news at 6:45 on Wednesday morning.

Yea!! The pediatrician called and said that Lily's neck x-ray looked normal. That's really good news. Tomorrow we go for pre-op at 10:15. We should find out what time her surgery is for Tuesday then. We'll spend Tuesday night in the hospital and should be home well before lunch on Wednesday. She's sleeping so much better the last couple of nights. She still sometimes does that little gasp while she sleeps. But she's so much quieter. I've stopped giving her the antibiotics and the Afrin. She only had three days on Afrin. I don't know what caused her head to clear up. But I've been able to sleep too. That's a blessing. She went to vacation bible school last week for three days. On Monday they lost her twice. On Tuesday she got a promotion to the three year old room where I was working. On Wednesday, I saw a sign saying that there was a confirmed case of hand, foot, and mouth disease. On Thursday and Friday, she stayed home. I'm considering three days at VBS a success. Now she has a weird rash on her arms and legs, but not her trunk. She's not runnning a fever or acting as if anything is bothering her. No sores in her mouth and since she's sleeping better, she's eating like a champ. My child is a big mystery. I've posted pictures of the others at Walmart.

Elmo was a great success. Lily absolutely loved it. I think she might try to become a tour groupie and follow Elmo's bus around. Our friend "J" did not think it was such fun, but he sat through it. His sister though bounced and wiggled so much evertime the music started I thought she was going to fall out of her mama's lap.
Here we are getting ready to go in.

Here's Lily just befor she fell out of her seat. I held her in my lap after that.

The rest of the time she looked like this. Well except during intermission when she wanted to get down from my lap. She went directly to the stage and tried to climb the stairs. When Elmo came to see us. She just hugged and petted him. He is furry after all.

On the way home Susan saw a sign for a covered bridge. Using her super photo op powers, she sensed that we must investigate further. She was right. It was really pretty there. We saw an owl in the daytime. He must have been confused. and the covered bridge. Too bad people had painted graffitti all over it.

But we still got a couple of good pictures. I've uploaded the others to Walmart.

One more day till Elmo Live!

Maybe this will post a video. Look about 1:40 in to see her kiss Elmo unprompted. I really hope she loves going to see Elmo live tomorrow. I think we have really good seats.

Ha, I just figured out how to upload pictures a much easier way. Wow. That was a lot quicker. Today we went outside and played in the water. Lily "loved" wearing her hat. Actually she pretty much left it alone. She licked the popsicle and then she was done. I wished she would like them more. That would make the tonsil thing easier. Oh well. One lick today and tomorrow she could be scarfing them down.

She put this shoe on all by herself. Then she tried to put the other shoe on and her foot just wouldn't cooperate. So after trying several times, she stood up, walked to the edge of the porch and threw the offending shoe as far as she could while yelling at it. Too funny!
